He was the chairman to the trial at Baku Court on Grave Crimes and on January 21, 2022 sentenced Eldar Hasanov to 10 years of imprisonment.

He was the chairman to the trial at Baku Court on Grave Crimes and on August 16, 2021 sentenced Yunis Safarov  to life imprisonment,  Hamlet Abdullayev to 19 years of imprisonment, Mahir Azizov to 20 years of imprisonment, Akif Aliyev to 20 years of imprisonment, Rasim Mustafayev to 20 years of imprisonment, Jeykhun Qurbanov to 18 years of imprisonment, Firudin Zeynalov to 19 years of imprisonment, Jafar Zalov to 18 years of imprisonment, Vugar Mammadov to 19 years of imprisonment,  Jeykhun Salakhov to 19 years of imprisonment.

He was the chairman to the trial at Baku Court on Grave Crimes and on July 2,2021 sentenced 14  Armenian military prisoners.

He was the chairman to the trial at Baku Court on Grave Crimes and on October 30, 2020 sentenced Elvin Isayev to 8 years of imprisonment.

He was the chairman to the trial at Baku Court on Grave Crimes and on July 11, 2018 sentenced paralyzed Abulfaz Bunyadov to 15 years of imprisonment and Elkhan Iskenderov  to 14 years of imprisonment.

Hajiyev Afgan  was judge to the trial of political prisoner, member of opposition Popular Front Party, Fuad Ahmedli, and on July 16, 2017 sentenced F. Ahmedli to 4 years of imprisonment.

Hajiyev Afgan  was the judge to the trial of political prisoner, member of opposition Popular Front Party, Elvin Abdullayev, and on June 1, 2015 he sentenced  E. Abdullayev  to 6 years of imprisonment.

Hajiyev Afgan  was the judge to the trial of political prisoner, human rights defender  Intiqam Aliyev, and on April 23, 2015 he sentenced I. Aliyev to 7,5 years of imprisonment.

He was the chairman to the trial at Baku Court on Grave Crimes and on August 13, 2015 sentenced Leyla Yunusova to 8,5 years of imprisonment and Arif Yunusov to 7 years of imprisonment.
