He was judge to the trial at Baku Court on Grave Crimes and on August 5, 2019  found the member  of opposition Musavat party Azad Hasanovguilty and sentenced Azad Hasanov to one year of imprisonment. Applying the Article 70 of the Criminal Code of the Azerbaijan, the court rendered a decision to grant parole with a probationary period of 6 months. Azad Hasanovwas released in the courtroom
